Asphaltic Plug Bridge Joint System (Crafco Matrix 502)
Flexible, seamless, 100% watertight expansion joints accommodating movements up to ±25mm.

Technical Overview & Method Purpose
Bridge expansion joints are subject to intense dynamic impacts, vehicle braking forces, and structural deflections. Traditional steel finger joints frequently rattle loose, corrode, and leak saltwater into sensitive bridge bearings. The Crafco Matrix 502 Asphaltic Plug Joint system provides a completely silent, flexible, watertight riding surface that moves with the bridge while completely preventing water leaks.
Engineering Specifications
Executed using genuine Crafco polymer sealants and hot melters with full compliance certification for RTA, MoEI, and municipality tenders.
